September 13

• Beach yoga with Nick & swimming

• Life on an organic farm during tomato and peperoncino season at Agriturismo Pietragrande: a morning of farming and learning about several varieties of some of Italy's most important raw materials

• Lunch prepared by chefs Paige and John at the farm

• Return to hotel or the beach for free time

• Relaxing dinner overlooking the Ionian Sea

Mulinum

September 14

• Beach yoga with Nick & swimming

• Visit Mulinum, the last stone flour mill in Calabria: The products here start in their wheat fields until milling. Mulinum is noted for its biodiversity and an agricultural philosophy based on low yields and a non-interventionist and sustainable approach

• Lunch in the field at Mulinum

• Return to hotel or the beach for free time

• Specialty pizza dough making for tomorrow night's dinner with grains chosen by each participant from Mulinum (1 hour or more if you prefer)

• Dinner at the Italian Culinary Institute

• Gelato on Lungomare

September 15

• Paddle board yoga with Chef Paige


• Visit to a goat and sheepfold: watch and learn artisan cheesemaking, tasting of freshly made ricotta

• Lunch at ICI

• Free time or the beach

• Pizza party! Each participant will prepare a personal pizza

• Gelato on Lungomare or at ICI

Iconic Towns

September 16

• Beach yoga with Nick & swimming

 

• Visit to Mercatino in Sant'Andrea followed by mushroom foraging in the mountains of Bivongi with local expert.

 

• Picnic in the woods at the Valli Cupe di Bivongi, the Bivongi waterfalls (with items from mercatino that I will prepare) and hopefully mushrooms. Bivongi is famous for two things: wine making and longevity. Many of the population are over 100 years old and many believe it's the wine!

 

• Return to hotel

 

• Dinner at a local restaurant.

 

• Gelato on Lungomare

September 17

• Beach yoga with Nick & swimming

• Visit and picnic aperitivo at Pollino National Park, home of Europe’s Oldest Known Tree, The Heldreich’s Pine is 1,230 years old!


• Return to hotel for free time

• Dinner on the Beach

Single Accommodation

Payment of $3500 covers one person in a single room¹.

Double Accommodation
Payment of $3200 covers one of two people sharing a room¹.

A refundable deposit of $500 saves a slot for one person².

²Deposit fully refundable up to 90 days before the tour start date. AFTER 90 DAYS deposit is only transferable to future tours.

Meet Our Beach Yoga Instructor

Nick has a natural gift for making people feel at home. He brings confidence, a sense of comfort and a smile to everyone he meets. With over a decade of experience in his yoga practice, Nick likes to infuse his classes and workshops with a mix of fun energy and a calming atmosphere as he guides people through their own individual understanding of yoga and meditation. His charm, humor and warmth makes his teachings accessible to any participant. Nick uses gentle movement and breathwork to encourage students to stay curious and open to whatever new experiences arise. Nick has participated in various yoga retreats in Costa Rica and Los Angeles where he's established many deep friendships with his students, helping them learn new skills and practices that help them stay grounded, stay present, and appreciate all of life's simple pleasures.
